Come out and support the Castlegar Minor Baseball Association! We will receive a portion of each ticket purchased.
The money raised will help us complete the project of enclosing our batting cages with a roof to allow us to use them more often and protect them from the weather.

Castlegar Baseball Association
Castlegar Baseball Association is a teaching and participation organization consisting completely of members on a volunteer basis. Without volunteers and parents like you, this program cannot exist. Volunteers are needed in all areas including coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, team parents, umpires, concession attendants and other positions.

2023 Umpire info
UMPIRING IS A GREAT WAY TO LEARN THE GAME, SEE THE GAME FROM A NEW PROSPECTIVE, AND MAKE SOME SUMMER MONEY ON THE SIDE.
THIS CAN ALSO LEAD TO POSSIBLE OPPORTUNITIES… TO ADVANCE TO OFFICIATE AT ZONE, REGIONAL, AND PROVICIAL CHAMPIONCHIPS!
TAKE THAT FIRST STEP NOW!
Clinics for the 2023 season will consist of 2 portions. Online portion for rules and a field setting for positioning, mechanics, etc. You have to pay a BCBUA registration fee and become a member with bcbua. https://bcbua.ca/home The fee will be reimbursed by CBA once you umpire a minimum of 4 games. You will have to complete your online portion and sign up for the Castlegar clinic. Location- Kinnard Elementry 2273 10th ave Casltegar. 6:30pm. Clean gym shoes please.
Minimum age is 11 to sign up. CBA provides gear, training, and mentoring through out the season.

Players are reminded to bring the minimum required equipment:
- Ball glove
- Batting helmet
- Cleats
- Pair of grey baseball pants
- Jock or Jill
Bat Regulations
Just a reminder that the bat regulations changed as of 2019/20. If purchasing a new bat please visit the Little League Wesbsite and see the new standard.
Attention parents
As CBA will no longer be supplying grey ball pants, here is some info. The equipment manager of Castlegar Baseball has a variety of new and gently used pants for sale, as well as some practice pants, to empty out the remaining stock.
